The Village
We want to begin by expressing our deep gratitude for the role you play in strengthening the fabric of our community. Your belief in this work, your willingness to show up, give, and support, has made everything we do possible.
Over the past several years, through Compassion Project and our collaborative partnerships, we have witnessed both the incredible strength of our community and a growing, undeniable need: spaces where people can truly gather, connect, and feel a sense of belonging.
While many organizations are doing meaningful and essential work, there remains a gap—a lack of shared, accessible space intentionally designed for connection, healing, and community care. It is from this understanding that The Village was created.
Purpose and Vision
The Village is a collaborative for this community-centered space driven by compassion, connection, and shared purpose, a place where individuals feel seen, supported, and not alone. More than just a building, The Village is intended to be a living, breathing hub for community wellbeing.
This space will bring together individuals, families, educators, and organizations through:
Mental health and wellness programming
Support groups and facilitated workshops
Creative and community-based events
Shared space for nonprofits and collaborative initiatives
Our intention is for The Village to become a long-term community staple—a place where access, connection, and care are consistently available to all.
Why This Matters Now
Bozeman is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes increasing cost and reduced accessibility. Many individuals and families are finding it harder to access supportive services, attend programs, or simply find spaces where they feel they belong.
We are also hearing clearly from our community that barriers like childcare, scheduling, and cost prevent participation. The Village is our response.
A centralized, flexible, and welcoming space allows us to:
Increase accessibility to free programming
Offer more consistent and expanded services
Explore solutions like concurrent childcare during adult programming
Support other nonprofits by providing shared, affordable space
This is about removing barriers—and replacing them with opportunity.
How You Can Help
We were able to secure a beautiful space thanks to 100 Strong’s Grant! It is located on 820 N Wallace Avenue, Suite A. We are thrilled to start preparing it and hosting a grand opening. But here’s the thing about a Village… it’s needs PEOPLE.
Bringing The Village to life will require community investment. We are striving to transform this place into a functional, welcoming, and sustainable hub for programming and collaboration. And we need your help.
This is where your support becomes essential. As funding becomes more competitive and costs continue to rise, community-driven support is what allows us to take bold, necessary steps forward.
Your contribution is not just a donation—it is an investment in:
Access to care
Community connection
A space where people can feel seen, supported, and not alone
Our existing programming demonstrates strong engagement and momentum:
We have the potential to reach over 5,400 individuals annually through currently scheduled programming and collaborations.
If we invest in a space, our impact can easily double within the first year.
These numbers reflect what is already possible. With a dedicated, thoughtfully designed space, we believe we can expand this impact exponentially—reaching more people, more consistently, and more meaningfully.
